Security Officer - Armed Patrol Unit

Allied Universal -  - Responsibilities:
Provide customer service to site staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as directed;
Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned areas, including interior spaces and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity;
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with on-site personnel and/or local public responders as appropriate;
Monitor and report unusual activity using security-related systems such as cameras, radios, and/or alarms, and complete required documentation such as incident reports and shift logs;
Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification and authorization, screening for prohibited items per post orders, and directing individuals to the appropriate check-in procedures
