Security Officer-Patrol in Lewiston Woodville, NC

As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Join Allied Universal at a fast‑paced food and beverage location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and stay highly visible to help deter security‑related incidents. Pay Rate: $14.68 / Hour

Job Schedule: Tue 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM, Fri 11:00 PM – 07:00 AM

What You'll Do
  • Provide customer service to facility employees, contractors, drivers and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting actions taken and notifying site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision as required.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, production and warehouse areas, parking lots, gates and the perimeter, watching for unusual activity and conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, managing sign‑in logs and directing visitors and deliveries to the proper locations.
  • Support shipping and receiving operations by monitoring truck check‑in, coordinating with site personnel on dock assignments and recording trailer and seal information per site procedures.
Minimum Requirements
  • X‑Ray screening experience is preferred.
  • Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
