What You ll Do
  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify any irregularities.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and access points to help deter unauthorized entry and maintain a visible security-related presence.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Assist law enforcement and/or emergency personnel as directed during incidents or emergencies.
  • Follow all procedures for carrying and handling firearms in accordance with Allied Universal training and site-specific requirements.
Minimum Requirements
  • An armed guard card or license is required.
  • At least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver s license will be required for driving positions only.
