As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a government environment, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This role involves both armed and driving responsibilities as you support a secure environment through routine patrols and exceptional communication.

** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter unauthorized access.

+ Maintain detailed reports and logs of daily activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences.

+ Interact professionally with staff, visitors, and/or members of the public, providing assistance as needed.

+ Enforce site policies and procedures as directed by Allied Universal and client instructions.

+ Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies and/or security-related incidents as required.

+ Operate communication devices to relay information and coordinate with Allied Universal team members.

+ Participate in ongoing training to maintain required certifications and proficiency in security-related procedures.

* + Be at least 21 years of age.

+ A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.

+ An armed guard card or license is preferred.

+ Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
