This part‑time Retail Patrol Officer will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as retail/malls in Butner, NC. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer you will actively monitor and patrol retail distribution locations to deter incidents and create a welcoming environment, providing outstanding customer service while communicating clearly with staff and visitors.

Pay Rate: $18.54 / hour

• Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skills.
• Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
• Observe and report suspicious activities, hazards, or unusual occurrences.
• Assist with access control and visitor management per site procedures.
• Communicate clearly and professionally while representing Allied Universal.
• Document incidents and maintain accurate records as required by protocols.

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required per Allied Universal driver policy.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
