Security Professional – Armed Government Facility Patrol - Full Time at Allied Universal. This armed driving post is located in Tabor City, NC, and involves patrolling government facilities, maintaining a highly visible presence, and responding to security-related incidents while delivering professional customer service.
What You’ll Do- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across environments including government facilities, commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver a professional security presence and customer service at all times
- Be prepared to fill in on short notice when urgent needs arise
- Provide customer service by following site policies and, when appropriate, engaging in emergency response activities
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and effectively
- Conduct regular and random patrols to deter unauthorized activity
- Monitor for unusual activity and report concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Maintain a visible presence to deter disturbances or incidents
- Interact professionally with visitors, staff, and the public per site protocols
- Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly
- Follow Allied Universal and site-specific protocols for armed patrol posts
- Availability across various days and shifts
- Reliability and adaptability to different post assignments
- Desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
- At least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and/or military roles
- Active armed guard card or license required
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Background check as required by federal, state, and local laws
- Criminal histories considered in accordance with applicable laws
- Drug screen required where permitted by law
- Participation in industry-specific security training programs
- Licensing requirements as dictated by state/local laws; may be required prior to employment
- Valid driver’s license required for driving positions
