• Conduct soil surveys and collect soil samples for laboratory analysis

• Prepare maps and other visual aids to illustrate soil characteristics

• Collaborate with other scientists and stakeholders on interdisciplinary projects

• Communicate findings and results to stakeholders, including government agencies and the public

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of soil data and results

• Stay current with the latest developments in soil science by reading relevant literature and attending conferences

• Master's degree in soil science, agronomy, or a related field

• Licensed Soil Scientist (must have)

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Knowledge of GIS software and mapping techniques

• Experience conducting field research and analyzing soil data
