This isn’t your average food job—it’s high energy, high volume, and right in the heart of a legendary North Carolina ski area!

The food service worker is responsible for the day-to-day preparation, cooking, packaging, and serving of food in Cataloochee’s "Cat Kafe". A food service worker will be expected to deal directly with the public on a daily basis.

• Serving up hot food and great vibes to hungry skiers & snowboarders
• Working the register and keeping lines moving fast
• Keeping kitchens, counters, and dining areas clean and stocked
• Jumping in wherever needed—because teamwork makes the mountain run
• Delivering friendly, upbeat service all day long

• BIG energy and a positive attitude
• Ability to keep up in a fast-moving environment
• Dependable, punctual, and ready to hustle
• Comfortable standing for long periods and lifting up to 30 lbs
• Experience is great—but we’ll train you if you bring the right attitude

• Seasonal winter positions
• Full-time & part-time schedules available
• Must be available weekends, holidays, and peak ski days

• Works well with others; guests/coworkers, etc.
• Able to multitask
• Can handle a fast-paced, potentially high-pressure environment

• Must be able and willing to work a varied schedule (weekend, holidays, and nights)

• Must be able to move throughout the resort comfortably and quickly, physically
• Must be able to stand for a long period of time
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
