8:00pm to 8:00am, 2/3 rotating shift

Our growing company is looking for a Quality Technician II to join our team!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Inspecting goods or products according to quality and safety standards.
- Provide routine raw material testing for incoming resins.
- Perform tests according to standard operating procedures.
- Ensure quality control measures are in place to aid Manufacturing operations and facilitate the final product approval process.
- Offer technical and quality control services for the manufacturing industry.
- Work together with the Production team to resolve the quality problem and oversee the stock of finished products.
- Produce and provide COA to customers as required.
- Ensure that quality control testing equipment is calibrated and functioning properly.
- Maintain the laboratory equipment and quality control testing devices.
- Maintain and develop laboratory service capability.
- Provide central laboratory services to various departments.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to facilitate the receipt of raw materials.
- Coordinate with Production Personnel in Quality Audit, for finished product acceptance, on hold and reject.
- Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.
- Assist in testing customer return orders and report detailed findings in shared spreadsheet.
- Assist in root cause analysis and corrective action determination for quality returns and internal quality issues.
- Assist in operator quality test training and annual retraining.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience as an Inspection or quality technician.
- The capacity to analyze and comprehend technical data.
- Possess excellent interpersonal abilities and establish positive working connections with individuals both within and outside the organization.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English communication is required.
- Capability to work independently with limited oversight.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic math, reading, and computer skills.
- High awareness toward safety.
- Ability to solve problems and apply critical thinking.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
- Able to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate/college-level courses or trade school preferred, but not necessary.
- Extrusion experience.
- Frequent standing, walking, and bending.
- Pushing, pulling, lifting at least 50lbs.
