About The Farm At Sugar Hill Produce, we care deeply for the health of our community and for the environment. We do not use synthetic pesticides or synthetic fertilizers on our farm. We believe that feeding people fresh, sustainable food is an important part of creating communities that are healthy, vibrant, & connected. We currently grow on 7 acres, year-round and serve two farmers' markets and multiple wholesale accounts.

Part-time position includes selling at Saturday farmers' markets and general field work: transplanting, weeding/hoeing, greenhouse work, harvesting, washing & packing produce. Position opens in March. Multiple seasons and winter work available.

• Availability some Saturday mornings for farmers markets, roughly 5am-1pm
• Some prior farm or other manual labor experience is a plus
• The ability to work well independently & as a team
• Good communication skills
  -attention to detail, & an eye for efficiency
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50# crates as well as work on the ground for many hours at a time
• A good sense of humor

Compensation: $17- $18/hr starting pay, depending on experience and ability. Bonus pay for Saturday market hours. Two weeks paid leave for each 12 months worked. Lots of fresh veggies for home use.
