This opportunity offers a rewarding contract position for a Registered Nurse with Telemetry experience at a well-regarded acute care unit located in Cullowhee, NC. The role involves providing exceptional nursing care to a geriatric and inpatient rehab (swing bed) patient population in a 24-bed unit recognized for its commitment to high-quality, concierge-level service within an affluent community.

Responsibilities include delivering advanced clinical care with a particular focus on wound care and managing minor procedures within the unit. The nurse will operate standard Med/Surg equipment and utilize the Cerner documentation system to ensure precise patient records. This position requires adherence to a 3 x 12-hour shift schedule, with minimal floating expected, fostering continuity of care and a consistent patient experience.

Key Qualifications and

Experience:

• Current RN licensure with Telemetry expertise
• Experience caring for geriatric or inpatient rehab (swing bed) patients
• Advanced wound care skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications preferred
• Experience with Cerner or similar electronic health record systems
• Ability to work within a team-oriented environment with high standards for patient experience
