Cardiology APPs Needed ??? 4-Month Contract in Scenic North Carolina We are seeking experienced Advanced Practice Providers (APPs)???
Nurse Practitioners (NPs) or Physician Assistants (PAs)???with a specialization in Cardiology to join our dedicated team in the Newland, NC area. This is a unique opportunity to practice in a supportive and collaborative medical environment while delivering exceptional cardiovascular care.
Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care for patients on the general cardiology service line (daily rounds & consultations). Document encounters with progress notes, event notes, and consult reports. Prescribe medications, order diagnostic tests, and recommend procedures. Perform ICU-based procedures such as arterial and central line placement and cardioversion as needed. Collaborate closely with attending physicians on new patient consults. Work Schedule 12-hour shifts (primarily days) Coverage available 7 days per week Qualifications Active North Carolina License (NP or PA) Active North Carolina DEA registration Substantial experience in Cardiology required
Experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred Contract Details Duration: 4 months
