CompensationEstimated Hiring Salary Range: $59,376-$62,345

Work ScheduleMonday‑Friday 40‑hour Workweek with no scheduled evening or weekends.
ResponsibilitiesUnder the direction of the FCHD Director of Nursing, and supervision of the Nursing Supervisor, this position provides direct clinical work within all our local health department programs including Child Health;
Family Planning;
Maternal Health;
Adult Health;
Immunizations; STD, Nurse Clinic; and in our Communicable Disease program when needed.
Graduation from an accredited school of professional nursing; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Fluency in Spanish/English preferred but not required.
Possession of a valid North Carolina driver's license upon hire.
Must have a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina by the NC Board of Nursing.
Required Immunizations- Two step TST (skin test). If you have had a negative TST within the last 12 months, you must have another one completed prior to employment.
- Proof of MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) immunity: two doses at least 28 days apart or laboratory evidence of immunity or confirmation of disease.
- Hepatitis B series: evidence of 3 doses; signed declination form or lab evidence of immunity.
- Evidence of Tdap vaccine.
- Evidence of varicella immunity: two doses at least 28 days apart or history of varicella or herpes zoster based on physician diagnosis or laboratory confirmation.
