Salary/Hourly Wage: $30–$36.00 /hour

- Coordinate services with various public and private community health, mental health and social service agencies to ensure appropriate services for individuals.
- Assist individuals with preparation and recording of the service planning process.
- Conduct assessments and treatment plans.
- Respond to crisis calls for assessment and timely intervention as needed.
- Complete clinical documentation as required.
- Manage the medication system in conjunction with the psychiatrist, administer and document medication treatment.
- Maintain a secure medication room to support dispensing of medications, including oral and intramuscular psychotropic medications.
- Screen and monitor individuals for medical problems and side effects.
- Engage in health promotion, prevention and education activities.
- Develop strategies to maximize medication adherence when agreed by the individual.
- Communicate and coordinate services with other medical providers.
- Educate the team in monitoring psychiatric symptoms and medication side‑effects.
- Understand and adhere to RI International compliance standards, Code of Conduct and Conflict of Interest Policies.
- Keep abreast of all federal and state regulations and laws and all RI International policies as they presently exist and as they change.
- Perform other related duties assigned.
- ACT team members shall provide “first‑responder” crisis response 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and 365 days a year to beneficiaries experiencing a crisis.
- Valid and current state‑specific RN license.
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications and their indications, common side effects, reactions and interactions.
- Basic computer skills.
- Attention to detail.

- Ability to conduct assessments and treatment plans.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Effective listening skills.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Trauma‑informed care experience preferred.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience working in a behavioral health setting.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality (HIPAA).
- Must pass a seven‑year background check.
- Must pass substance abuse testing and/or tuberculous testing (if applicable).
- Must pass education verification check.
- Must pass three‑year motor vehicle report and meet minimum eligibility requirements of the insurance carrier (if driving is required).
- Education:
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse;
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. - Licensure:
Valid and current state‑specific RN license.
