Haywood Regional Medical Center – Clyde, NC

Women's Services unit with a Level 1 nursery and 6 LDRP rooms. Average of 15 deliveries per month and a below-average C-section rate. This role offers the opportunity to work in a supportive environment focused on promoting a positive birthing experience and the health and well-being of mothers and infants.

• Accurately performs patient assessments and identifies patient needs
• Identifies and initiates appropriate nursing interventions
• Provides care appropriate to condition and age of the patient
• Performs timely and appropriate documentation relating to medical necessity in the medical record
• Responsible for completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient
• Performs timely and accurate quality improvement (QI) assessments

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of North Carolina or a compact state
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire
• AHA ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire
• One year of experience preferred
• Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment

• $20,000 Sign-On Bonus for Night Shift with a 2-year commitment
• Schedule:
  
  3x12s, Night Shift (7p-7a), Rotating Weekends
