Position Summary
The primary function of the Assistant Director of Nursing is to assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, developing, managing, and directing the day‑to‑day functions of the SNF Nursing Service Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the facility. The Assistant Director of Nursing works alongside the Director of Nursing, the Administrator, and the Medical Director to ensure the highest degree of quality of care is maintained for each resident at all times.
The role follows all health, sanitary and infection control policies and maintains established standards of practice set forth by the facility's administration and Nursing Policies and Procedures.
- Assist the Director of Nursing in planning, organizing, and managing nursing services.
- Collaborate with the Administrator and Medical Director to maintain high quality patient care.
- Ensure compliance with health, sanitary, and infection control policies.
- Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN within the state of employment.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a supervisory role in a hospital, nursing facility, or related healthcare facility, preferably in long‑term care.
- Must possess basic computer skills and ability to navigate various software programs, including electronic health record software.
- Full‑time opportunity.
- Shifts:
Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. - Wage: $40.00 – $42.00 per hour.
