About the Opportunity/Position Highlights- Manages patients undergoing general, regional and local anesthesia appropriately.
- Develops an appropriate anesthetic plan of care taking into account the patient's medical history and test results.
- Works in conjunction with the anesthesiologist to form an integrated anesthesia care team.
- Performs venous and arterial access procedures as necessary.
NC RN licensure required. Graduate of an accredited School of Nurse Anesthesia required. CRNA licensure required. BLS and ACLS PALS from AHA required

Assembles necessary supplies and equipment, and administers intravenous, spinal, and other anesthetics prior to surgical or other medical procedures. Monitors patients’ reactions and vital signs during and after anesthesia and takes remedial action when warranted. Submits postoperative report on patients’ condition and maintains records of anesthetics administered.
