Davie Medical Center offers anesthesia services including Orthopedics, Total Joints, Neuro-Spine, Hand, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, and Gastroenterology.

What You’ll Do

The CRNA will play a key role in team-focused patient care, providing anesthesia using safe and quality techniques during Pediatric Procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: precepting Student Nurse Anesthetists (mentoring and assessing medical students), determining appropriate patient care plans, collaborating with the medical team for effective team-based care, upholding patient safety and infection prevention, documenting patient records in compliance with hospital standards, maintaining scheduling flexibility and punctuality, and contributing to cost containment and ongoing professional development.

Performs Other Related Duties as Assigned. The clinician functions under regulatory mandates from licensing boards with department-specific credentialing.

CRNA Requirements
  • Graduation from an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program, Master’s Degree or higher required.
  • RN licensure in North Carolina;
    Current certification/recertification to practice as a Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board.
  • Current CPR Certification – ACLS, BLS.
  • Ability to demonstrate clinical competency within granted privileges.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse clinical teams.
