Where You’ll Work

At Brenner Children’s Hospital NICU provides Level II, III, and IV services to over 700 infants annually.

What You’ll Do

As a valued member of the NICU team, you will conduct thorough examinations, provide nursing and selected medical procedures for neonates and infants, collaborate with the health‑care team and families, and advance the care of neonates through evidence‑based practice.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize advanced knowledge and skills to provide nursing and selected medical procedures for neonates and infants
  • Communicate and collaborate with appropriate members of the health care team and patient families
  • Work to improve the quality of care provided to neonates
  • Contribute to research and share knowledge with the interdisciplinary team
  • Maintain current licensure and stay updated on professional standards
  • Ensure age‑specific appropriate care in accordance with guidelines
  • Perform related duties incidental to the work
Nurse Practitioner (NNP) Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Master’s Program
  • Current North Carolina Board of Nursing Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license
  • Board certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner
  • Board certification in BCLS, PALS, and NRP
  • Welcome to new and experienced NNP providers
Salary Range

$57.85 – $86.80 per hour
