Explore an exciting opportunity with Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist as we eagerly welcome a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join our dynamic Pediatrics Anesthesia Team in Winston Salem, NC at Brenner Children s Hospital.

Responsibilities

What You ll Do: As a valued member of our healthcare team, the CRNA will play a key role in team-focused patient care, providing anesthesia using safe and quality techniques during pediatric procedures. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Potential for and encouraged to precept Student Nurse Anesthetists – opportunity to mentor and assess these medical students.
  • Use medical decision-making skills to determine appropriate patient care plan to ensure peri-operative and anesthesia care, being sensitive to co-morbidities and age and developmental guidelines.
  • Collaborate with medical team for effective team-based care; uphold patient safety, drive quality improvement, and promote infection prevention within job responsibilities and initiatives.
  • Document and maintain patient records in compliance with hospital standards, ensuring confidentiality.
  • Maintain scheduling flexibility, readiness, and punctuality to deliver timely patient care.
  • Exhibit professionalism through teamwork, collaboration, and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Contribute to cost containment efforts by conserving resources.
  • Performs Other Related Duties as Assigned.

Regulatory and Practices: The clinician functions under the regulatory mandate from their respective licensing organization with departmental credentialing from the institution.

Qualifications
  • Graduation of an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program, Master’s Degree or Higher Required.
  • Registered Nurse licensure from the North Carolina Board of Nursing + Currently Certified or Recertified to practice as a Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board.
  • Current CPR Certification – ACLS, BLS, PALS.
  • Ability to demonstrate clinical competency within the scope of granted privileges.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse clinical teams.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Range: $97.75 - $156.40 per hour
