Contract details

Contract duration: 13 weeks

Shift: AP (07:00 am – 7:30 pm)

Requirements of the LPN/LVN position
  • Completion of an accredited licensed practical nursing program
  • Current and unencumbered license in the state of practice
  • At least one year of experience in the last three years
  • Background screening as required by state or client contract
  • Drug screening as required by the contract
  • Some states or clients may require an employment physical
Working conditions
  • Work sites vary
  • Possible exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious materials
  • Ability to read medical equipment and documents; moving equipment may be required
  • Ability to assist with moving patients
Representative duties and responsibilities
  • Complies with ATC Healthcare Services policies and procedures
  • Provide nursing acts under delegation/supervision of registered nurses or physicians
  • Administer nursing procedures per patients’ care plans (e.g., sterile dressings, catheters, wound care, oxygen therapy, ROM therapy)
  • Prepare and administer prescribed medications
  • Monitor medication effects and document patient responses
  • Assist in rehabilitation programming and activities for residents
  • Maintain confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA
  • Provide patient care in a respectful, non-discriminatory manner
