Registered Nurse (RN), Med Surg – Haywood Regional Medical Center, Clyde, NC

Med/Surg sign-on bonus: $20,000 for night shift with a 2-year commitment.

Schedule:

3x12s, night shift (7p-7a), rotating weekends. Haywood Regional Medical Center is part of Lifepoint Health, a diversified healthcare delivery network with facilities coast to coast.

• Provide compassionate care to patients in a 39-bed Medical Surgical unit, collaborating with RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
• Assess patient needs and identify appropriate nursing interventions; perform timely and accurate documentation related to medical necessity in the medical record.
• Contribute to completion and revision of the Interdisciplinary Care Plan for each patient; participate in ongoing quality improvement assessments.
• Administer treatments and ensure patient conditions are monitored for safety and comfort; document interventions per policy.

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in North Carolina or a compact state.
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire; AHA ACLS and PALS required within six months of hire.
• One year of experience preferred.
• Critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Applicants should hold a current RN licensure in NC or a compact state.
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire; AHA ACLS and PALS within six months of hire.
