The Training Coordinator (weekends) is responsible for delivering effective training for new and existing team members across classroom settings, Training Cells, and the production floor. This role partners closely with Production, Human Resources, and Continuous Improvement teams to identify training needs, update curriculum, monitor trainee progress, and ensure workforce readiness. The Training Coordinator has a highly visible, hands-on role that requires a regular presence on the manufacturing floor and direct engagement with team members.

Fri, Sat, & Sun: 7am - 7:30pm
What You'll Do
Training Delivery & Workforce Readiness
* Facilitate onboarding and skills-based training for new and existing team members in the classroom, Training Cell, and on the production floor.
* Serve as the primary resource and point of contact for new team members throughout the training process.
* Monitor and evaluate trainee performance and readiness; make recommendations for release to the production floor.
* Conduct testing and evaluation events to assess knowledge transfer, skill proficiency, and certification progress.
* Provide targeted coaching, feedback, and retraining to improve individual and team performance.
* Present training content using varied instructional methods such as demonstrations, role playing, simulations, group discussions, videos, and hands-on exercises.
Curriculum Development & Training Records
* Observe production operations to identify training gaps, process changes, and emerging skill needs.
* Assist in the development, maintenance, and continuous improvement of training manuals, work instructions, guides, and visual aids.
* Update training curriculum and materials to reflect process changes, safety requirements, and operational standards.
* Ensure training documentation, certifications, and records are accurately created, tracked, and maintained.
Collaboration & Production Support
* Coordinate with Production Management regarding placement, movement, and certification status of new team members.
* Work cross-functionally with Production, HR, and leadership to support defined and emerging training needs.
* Partner with Human Resources and supervision to support workforce readiness decisions, including reassignment or retraining recommendations.
* Maintain certifications in multiple manufacturing and support areas and provide coverage support as needed.
* Provide hands-on support to production areas when not actively engaged in training activities.
Continuous Improvement & Operational Excellence
* Support the CI Specialist and CI Manager with Continuous Improvement initiatives and projects.
* Collaborate with the OpEx team to support training-related improvement efforts.
* Identify and recommend opportunities to improve training effectiveness, efficiency, and alignment with manufacturing goals.
* Actively develop leadership skills and gain proficiency in support roles to enhance training impact.
Professionalism, Safety & Housekeeping
* Demonstrate exemplary attendance, reliability, and adherence to company policies.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area; support general housekeeping standards on the manufacturing floor.
* Promote a positive, inclusive, high-energy learning environment supporting engagement and retention.
* Support plant safety standards while working throughout the manufacturing environment.
Position Requirements :
Education & Experience
* High School Diploma or GED required.
* 1-3 years of prior production or manufacturing floor experience.
* Minimum of 1 year of experience training, teaching, or coaching others in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
* Associate's degree or relevant college coursework.
* Informal or formal leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
