Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Programmatic Launch Leader - Low Voltage Assemblies based onsite at our Avery Creek, NC manufacturing facility. Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates currently residing in the US.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $113,000 - $165,000 a year. Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

This position is responsible for the execution of the Low Voltage Assemblies programmatic job launch at site level which includes site and supply chain readiness, capacity planning and release to production to ensure site, product line and customer requirements are met. Reporting directly to the Programmatic Execution Leader and functionally to the site Plant Manager, the incumbent will drive program management leadership and coordination across site functions to ensure proper alignment and execution.

It will be the voice for any programmatic site launch communication and be single POC for site change management.

The role owns site programmatic manufacturing jobs, leading manufacturing readiness planning, change management, alignment of job-specific criteria, and the establishment of standard work and communication tools with key stakeholders. The individual will manage the transition to site operations to ensure continuity of supply through job completion, coordinate and execute all manufacturing-related program activities, and identify efficiency and throughput opportunities through data-driven manufacturing optimization.

Strong experience in product and process launches, manufacturing operations, effective communication, and the ability to lead in a matrix environment are essential.

What You’ll Do Program Management
  • Development of program timelines and milestones that support programmatic job site launch and handover to site for sustained supply.
  • Document and communicate program performance at site level and upstream.
  • Ensure jobs are launched on time, within budget, with associated cost targets and no customer impact (Delivery and Quality).
  • Active participant in site operations reviews and site management system.
Launch Readiness And Execution
  • Establish process to validate manufacturing readiness for new jobs and obtain lessons learned from current ones.
  • Coordinate and align at site level to create and execute overall launch plan.
  • Work with site to ensure job specific requirements are identified, deployed and implemented.
  • Lead site in executing plant launch plan and handover for continued supply.
  • Support design for manufacturing initiatives and drive process optimization that drive launch execution and efficiency.
Qualifications Basic (required) Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Five (5) years of experience in product/process launch, operations, materials planning and/or manufacturing or industrial engineering.
  • Two (2) years experience in project management or has obtained project management certifications.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or MBA from an accredited institution.
  • Previous experience leading project work utilizing project management skills and tools.
  • Ability to operate a wide latitude for actions and recommendations which support product line programmatic site launch.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing practices; experience in manufacturing or plant operations.
  • Experience with the manufacture and assembly of complex assemblies.
  • Experience with developing manufacturing processes for new products and change management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MRL or equivalent manufacturing readiness development process and PFMEA’s.
  • Ability to build effective ramp plans and work with supply chain function on supply plans and MPS.
