Our client, a leader in manufacturing and assembly services, is seeking a dedicated Switchboard Assembler to join their team. As a Switchboard Assembler, you will be an integral part of the production department supporting the assembly of steel enclosures and related components. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong manual dexterity, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Switchboard Assembler
Location: Wendell, NC
Pay Range: $19.00
Shift: 6:00AM to 2:30PM
What's the Job?
- Assemble steel, fiberglass, and copper parts using hand tools, air-driven tools, and power tools.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate assembly.
- Use measuring tapes with precision to verify component dimensions.
- Lift and handle materials weighing up to 35 pounds consistently.
- Maintain a safe and organized workspace adhering to safety standards and protocols.
What's Needed?
- Ability to work with hand tools, air-driven tools, and power tools effectively.
- Physical capability to lift 35 pounds regularly.
- Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings and blueprints.
- Accurate measurement skills using measuring tapes.
- Fluent communication skills in English.
