Machine Specialties, Inc. (MSI) is a leading contract machining and metal finishing specialist that designs and manufactures sophisticated, cost-effective solutions to meet our clients' most demanding challenges. Our company is located in Whitsett, NC, just outside of Greensboro, NC.

We are looking for a Quality Administrator to join our team. The Quality Administrator is responsible for ensuring conformity documentation is complete prior to product shipment. This is an hourly position that will report directly to the Quality Manager.

The ideal candidate will have strong data entry skills, attention to detail and will work well with others in a fast-paced and family-like environment.

Position Summary
  • Complete Certification of Conformance packages for manufactured product following established procedures and checklists.
  • Maintain internal document management system for conformity documentation.
  • Enter hand recorded data into electronic database.
  • Identify and communicate existing and potential documentation issues.
  • Communicate documentation issues with production team to reach resolution.
  • Communicate with customer quality representatives and provide clarification to documentation and product conformity.
  • Provide drawings and inspection paperwork to shop floor personnel as needed.
  • Demonstrate flexibility within a fast-paced challenging environment.
  • Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and multitask.

Required Training/Education/Experience
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Administrator or other office experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of AS9100, ISO
    9001, or equivalent FAI process is preferred.
  • Experience in an aerospace manufacturing facility is preferred.
