Electro Mechanical Technician

Our client, a leader in electrical distribution systems and industrial automation, is seeking an Electro Mechanical Technician 1 to join their team. As an Electro Mechanical Technician 1, you will be part of the manufacturing and assembly department supporting the maintenance and assembly of electrical equipment. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong teamwork skills, and a proactive attitude which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electro Mechanical Technician 1

Location: Wendell, NC

Pay Range: $21-$24

Shift: 3:00pm – 11:30pm, Monday to Friday (2nd shift)

What's the Job?

• Assemble and wire Low Voltage Motor Control Centers, switch gear, and related electrical components
• Perform mechanical assembly of steel structures and sub-assemblies
• Read and interpret Bills of Materials (BOM), layouts, and assembly drawings
• Conduct control wiring and power cable work following detailed instructions
• Ensure safety protocols are followed and maintain a clean, organized work environment

What's Needed?

• Ability to lift parts or sub-assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Proven record of quality and productivity in mechanical or electrical assembly
• Strong team collaboration skills and safety awareness
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
