Extruder Operator - First Shift (Manufacturing)

NOTE - We have one open position for Extruder Operator on first shift from 7:00am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday.

• Responsible for operating and maintaining machines that extrude or draw out elastomeric or poly ethylene pipes or hoses.
• Learn to operate machines that require some set up and decision making under supervision.
• Performs routine setups, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
• Executes the production plan with supervision.
• Performs operations with specific detailed instructions and directions.
• Proactively cleans and shuts down the machine.
• Ensures proper adjustment and , and wall thickness.
• Follows SOPs to ensure that product specifications are adhered to as related to product quality and packaging requirements.
• Will be required to perform all other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
• Six (6) months of experience operating extruder machine a plus.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.

• High attention to detail.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow safety and SOP information.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Ability to communicate in a manufacturing environment.
• Possess the ability to work effectively with others.
• Safety mindset.

• Regularly required to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift objects up to 55 lbs.
• Use fingers, hands, arms, and legs to lift, reach, push and pull. Will stand, walk, stoop, and kneel.
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, heat, and loud noise.
