Performs manual and tool-assisted tasks to debone turkey meat and support processing operations in a fast-paced food production environment. Maintains safety, sanitation, and quality standards while rotating through various departmental functions. Works primarily in cold, damp conditions with strict adherence to USDA and GMP guidelines.

Responsible for performing numerous tasks on recently-slaughtered turkeys or supporting overall operations within the department.
Responsibilities- Perform various tasks, including repetitive manual labor to debone meat from turkeys.
- Use tools or equipment for tasks as required while operating by hand when necessary.
- Observe equipment operation and notify appropriate personnel of malfunctions or safety concerns.
- Rotate to various functions within the processing department as needed.
- Follow all safety, USDA, and GMP policies and guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and at line speed after training.
- Communicate effectively, following verbal and written instructions and policies.
- Work well in a team atmosphere.
- Attend scheduled work hours punctually and regularly.
- Perform physical requirements of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Be at least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Pass a background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical.
- Read, write, and/or speak English (for some positions).
- Stand 8–10 hours per day.
- Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Perform possible bending, stooping, twisting, and squatting.
- Use repetitive hand‑intensive tasks, tight gripping, grasping, pinching, and pulling.
- Work in damp and cold environment.
- Work with loud and noisy machinery.
- Encounter chemicals/fumes/pungent odors.
- Work with or around animal organs and animal feces.
- No minimum education requirement.
- No previous work experience required.
- At least 18 years old.
- Eligible to work legally in the United States.
