Machining Operator I - 2nd/3rd Shift

Run production machines to produce quality parts to print to meet customer expectations and requirements.

• Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follow all safety rules and regulations and demonstrate commitment to the safety program.
• Review and follow work instructions, management system procedures and standard operating documents.
• Run CNC and manual machines, and held tools.
• Inspect parts and identify defects and non‑conformities. Notify supervisor or lead of non‑conformance parts immediately.
• Adjust machine settings with assistance when necessary.
• Consistently and accurately complete all related paperwork and documentation (inspection reports, part counts, scrap tags, material tags, etc.).
• Monitor fluids in machine and coolant flow.
• Utilize the 5‑S principles (sort, set, shine, standardize, sustain) to maintain an orderly, clean, and safe work area.
• Regularly meet or exceed efficiency requirements.
• Produce parts that meet the company’s quality standards.
• Actively participate in CIP events to improve safety, quality, and efficiencies.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement.
• Work at a consistent and steady pace, be prepared to work each day, and report to the assigned work center punctually.
• Communicate with supervisor and co‑workers professionally.
• Ensure the work center is prepared for the next operator – cleanliness, organization, supporting documentation.
• Promote a positive atmosphere and support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees.
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Manufacturing experience desired but not required.

• Mechanical aptitude.
• Basic math skills, working knowledge of decimals.
• Ability to read measuring instruments.
• Ability to read and follow work instructions.
• Detail‑oriented with ability to recognize defects and non‑conformities.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.
• Regular attendance.

• On‑the‑job training (OJT) for Machining Operator I.

• Ability to frequently lift or move up to 20 lbs, occasionally up to 33 lbs, and rarely up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for the full shift.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements (bending, twisting, walking, crouching).
• Ability to operate continuously for a minimum of 3 hours.
