Airgas is hiring for a Plant Operator to help our production team deliver high‑quality industrial gases. As a Plant Operator you will operate and maintain equipment, transport cylinders, record production, and adhere to all safety protocols.

• Operate and maintain production equipment, including compressors, pumps, and filling stations.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks to keep equipment in optimal condition.
• Safely handle and transport cylinders, including filling and quality checks.
• Operate a forklift to move materials and products within the facility safely.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, cylinder tracking, and production activities.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a secure work environment.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions to enhance your knowledge and skills.

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in industrial operations is a plus.
• Previous experience in plant operations, industrial maintenance, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols.
• Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
• Flexibility to work shifts and overtime as needed.
