Description
- Works under the supervision of Fabrication Shop Manager and Fabrication Shop Foreman
- Performs various fabrication shop duties at the direction of Fabrication Shop Foreman
- Attends all safety and training as required
- Acquires qualification in use of material handling equipment
- Prepares material for fabrication including cutting and grinding of pieces as well as selection of appropriate hand and /or power tools for such work
- Responsible for accurate layout and fit-up of component parts for final welded assembly using engineered construction/shop drawings
- Hourly employee, excellent benefits
- General knowledge of and experience in steel fabrication in a production shop environment
- Knowledge of and/or experience in SMAW (Shielded Metal) and FCAW (Flux Cored) arc welding
- Possess a professional, safe and cooperative work place demeanor
- Pass drug screen, clean background check
