Summary
Lincoln Electric is seeking an experienced Electrical Quality Technician to support manufacturing operations by ensuring product quality, equipment reliability, and continuous improvement. This role works cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Manufacturing Engineering, and R&D to troubleshoot, inspect, maintain, and improve equipment and processes while upholding quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities- Support and promote continuous improvement and quality initiatives.
- Diagnose failed machinery – focusing on electrical aspects.
- Enforce quality standards and identify, tag, and assist with disposition of non-conforming materials.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production quality issues.
- Diagnose and repair machines and/or PC boards tagged as non-conforming.
- Support the design, introduction, inspection, and maintenance of new and existing equipment.
- Maintain inspection, test, and quality performance records.
- Initiate CAPA determinations and support yield improvement efforts.
- Perform audits and assist with quality training for production personnel.
- Collaborate cross-functionally on the shop floor and report safety incidents or near misses.
- Technician III:
Vocational training with 5+ years of relevant experience, or HS Diploma/GED with 7+ years of experience. - Technician IV:
Vocational training with 8+ years of relevant experience, or HS Diploma/GED with 10+ years of experience.- May act as a lead, coordinating and facilitating the work of others.
- Selected candidate’s Job Level and Pay Grade will be determined based upon qualifications and experiences.
- Experience with manufacturing quality standards and engineering principles.
- Interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
- Proficient with measurement and inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
- Ability to use a digital multimeter (DMM) for electrical measurements.
- Equipment and/or electronics troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Windows OS.
- Ability to stand/walk frequently and lift up to 60 lbs. (on occasion).
