Position Title: General Labor

Compensation: General Labor – $19.50 per hour

General Labor: 07:00 AM – 04:30 AM (times may vary by location)

• Entry level, non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
• Tasks may include roles such as stacker/supplier, food assembly, hand wrapper, sanitation, or other general labor openings.
• Stand, walk, stretch, bend, climb, push, pull, kneel, squat and reach as part of duties.
• Lift, push and carry items on the production floor (weight ranges from 15–50 pounds, depending on area).
• Be available to work overtime and weekends as required to meet production deadlines; work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; be cross trained and moved to other areas as needed; stand 8–12 hours per day on hard floors in extreme temperatures (50–120 degrees).

• Prior experience is not required.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Must have been in current position 90 days to transfer to another shift, line, or department; no time in seat requirement for demotions on the same shift.
• Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
