General Labor and Stacker Labor

Pay- General Labor: $19.50 per hour
- Stacker Labor: $19.95 per hour
- General Labor: 04:00 or 04:30 PM - 01:00 or 01:30 PM
This position is responsible for entry level, non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Tasks include: standing, walking, stretching, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, squatting and reaching. Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening in any department that may include, but not limited to, stacker/supplier, food assembly, hand wrapper, and sanitation.
Candidate must be willing to lift, push and carry on the production floor (weight ranges 15–50 pounds). Candidates must be available to work overtime and weekends; must be able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; must be willing to be cross trained and moved to other areas; must be willing and able to stand for 8–12 hours per day on hard floors in extreme hot or cold environments (50 to 120 degrees).
- Prior experience is not required.
- Must have effective communication skills and be able to work in a team environment.
- Must have been in their current position 90 days to transfer to another shift, line, or department; no time in seat requirement for demotions on the same shift
- Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment.
