  This job is responsible for maintaining flow of product and keeping a sufficient supply of supplies for the area. This position may fill in for various line positions/tasks as needed on a daily/hourly basis.

  This position will trim in Evisceration. Portions are removed from the belt conveyor as it passes the workstation; bones, skin and cartilage are removed and certain portions are placed back onto the conveyor.
• Position Title: General Labor —

  Job Description:
  
  This position is responsible for entry level, non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

• Tasks: Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening in any department that may include, but not limited to, supplier, assembler, topper, hand wrapper, packer, stacker, sanitation. Other tasks include standing, walking, stretching, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, kneeling, squatting and reaching.
• Physical requirements: Candidate must be willing to lift, push and carry in many areas on the production floor (weight depends on area ranging from 15 – 50 pounds). Availability for overtime and weekends as required; ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment; cross-training and movement to other areas as needed; stand for 8 – 12 hours per day on hard floors in extreme hot or cold environments (50 to 120 degrees).
• Requirements: Prior experience is not required. Must have effective communication skills and be able to work in a team environment.
