Sanitation Supervisor

Are you a proactive leader with expertise in sanitation procedures and a passion for safety and team development? Pilgrim’s is looking for a Sanitation Supervisor to ensure our Marshville, NC processing plant is ready for production daily.
Responsibilities- Team Leadership:
Plan, assign, and direct the work of your sanitation team members, providing training, performance feedback, and mentorship to help them succeed. - Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all team members adhere strictly to established cleaning procedures and safety protocols, meeting rigorous standards set by Pilgrim’s and regulatory agencies. - Regulatory Liaison:
Maintain professional communication with USDA representatives and chemical suppliers. - Operational Management:
Manage the inventory and usage of sanitation products, oversee the departmental budget, and administer company policies fairly and equitably. - Communication:
Promote goodwill and positive morale through proactive team communication and involvement.
- Education:
High School Diploma/GED;
College Degree in related field preferred. - Experience:
1 or more years of previous supervisory experience with leadership skills of 20+ employees preferred. Considerable knowledge of sanitation procedures and supervisory management practices;
Poultry or food industry experience is a plus. - Skills:
Effective communication both orally and in writing, capacity for independent decision-making, proficiency in MS Office applications, and ability to manage multiple priorities. - Bilingual:
English/Spanish or English/Haitian Creole skills preferred.
- Schedule:
Monday – Friday, afternoon shift hours. Weekends as needed; - Benefits:
