Tool Crib Attendant (Stores – Clerk)
Job SummaryServe as a central coordinating source for all incoming and outgoing material (production and non‑production) and all movement of daily production under the direction of the Materials Manager. Manage, initiate, control and direct the activities of materials handlers/employees and equipment in the department.
Responsibilities- Receive and sort incoming parts and supplies and store them in an orderly and accessible manner.
- Process incoming requisitions and issue or distribute parts and supplies for internal use.
- Maintain records of orders and the amount, kind and location of parts and supplies on hand using a manual or computerized inventory system.
- Prepare requisitions to replenish parts and supplies.
- Assist purchasing personnel in procurement functions on a daily basis: order replenishment, follow up with suppliers, and expedite past‑due orders.
- Conduct cycle counts as per policy.
- Use computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent GED, or equivalent expertise gained through professional experience, training or certifications.
- Strong inventory and stock‑keeping capabilities.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
