Loader 1 - 2nd Shift at Carlisle Construction Materials

The Loader is responsible for handling inbound and outbound materials at the facility, including picking, pulling, loading, and unloading shipments with a focus on accuracy, safety, and efficiency.

• Operate a propane sit-down forklift safely and efficiently.
• Sort shipments by destination and organize merchandise to fulfill orders.
• Load finished materials for transport and unload raw materials for processing or storage.
• Move products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Inspect forklift daily to identify maintenance needs and ensure safe operation.
• Verify piece counts on pallets and compare with shipping labels or work orders.
• Handle materials following all safety procedures.
• Follow shipping and receiving work orders accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year forklift experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in shipping and receiving.

• Fast‑paced manufacturing environment with exposure to loading docks, driveways, and varying weather conditions.
• Schedule:
  
  2nd shift, 1:50 PM – 9:50 PM, Monday through Friday.
• Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as needed.

• Lifting or carrying: 1–10 lbs (0–30%), 11–20 lbs (31–60%), 21–40 lbs, 41–50 lbs, 51 lbs or more
• Pushing or pulling: 1–40 lbs, 41–50 lbs, 51 lbs or more
• Standard work position activities: bending or stooping, reaching above shoulder level, walking, standing, sitting
• Work in extreme temperatures, repetitive motion, and use of visual, auditory, and dexterity tasks.

Steel‑ or composite‑toe boots, safety glasses, cut‑resistant gloves and arm guards, and hearing protection.
