Food Manufacturing Supervisor

Advanced Personnel Resources is currently seeking an experienced Manufacturing Supervisor for our client in the Browns Summit area.

This position is responsible for leading a team on the production floor, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates will have at least 3 years of recent experience as a Production Supervisor in a manufacturing environment and the ability to work overtime as required.

• Lead and supervise production team members, including operators and setup technicians.
• Prioritize safety — enforce company safety policies, participate in audits and incident investigations.
• Ensure products meet quality specifications through monitoring and corrective actions.
• Manage shift production schedules, monitor metrics, and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, R&D, Engineering, and HR to address issues and drive process improvements.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives like Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, and other efficiency projects.
• Train and develop staff; conduct performance reviews and coach for growth.
• Foster a positive, performance-focused, team-oriented work environment.
• Coordinate with other leads and supervisors to handle change-overs.

• Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
• At least 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies.
• Solid communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
