As a Trimmer, you will help turn frames and fabrics into the furniture our customers love. You will also play a key role in upholding our quality standards by ensuring each piece is built with precision, durability, and attention to detail.

• Attach binding, braids, skirts or other trimming materials or fabrics to upholstered frames.
• Attach bindings or apply solutions to edges of cut material to prevent raveling.
• Attach fasteners, grommets, buttons, buckles, ornamental trim, and other accessories to covers or frames, using hand tools.
• Examine furniture frames and upholstery to locate defects.
• Fit, install, and secure material on frames, using hand tools, power tools, glue, cement, and/or staples.
• Make custom upholstered furniture, using hand tools and knowledge of fabrics and upholstery methods.
• Read work orders and apply knowledge and experience with materials to determine types and amounts of materials required to cover work pieces.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Three or more years of experience as an upholsterer.
• Ability to perform skilled tasks with occasional problem solving to resolve issues.
• Ability to multi‑task and manage many responsibilities and projects at one time.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret work orders.
• Ability to interact individually with users and work cross‑functionally throughout the organization.
