- The Helper will assist and work with the Operators. Assist in assuring HACCP, GMP's, Work Instructions, and Food Safety Quality system requirements (SQF) are in compliance.
- Quality, quantity, waste amounts, safety of personnel and equipment.
- Responsible for learning and understanding the timely and accurate completion of all production reports, quality monitors, work instructions, safety rules and guidelines and posted rules and guidelines for preforming Operator in training.
- Assist in directing the work and safe training of others at the direction of the Operator.
- Responsible for learning and understanding all pre-setup work and materials necessary for the job and directly shares responsibility for set-up, production, quality, scrap, and shutdown.
- Assist and work with the Operator to ensure that proper and complete information exchange between shifts takes place concerning personnel and equipment.
- Must know, follow and demonstrate compliance with all safety rules and understand working safely is a condition on employment.
- Assist in assuring HACCP, GMP’S, Work Instructions and Food Safety Quality System requirements (SQF) are in compliance.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Plant Manager
- Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must be able to work flexible hours.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be able to read and follow production orders accurately.
- Must be able to accurately read, use and understand a tape measure.
- Must be able to communicate effectively to fulfill requirements of production orders.
