Thuasne has an immediate opening in Hamlet, NC for a 3rd Shift Technician.

Schedule:
Sunday – Thursday, 10:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Additional 10% per hour shift differential also added to hourly base pay rate!

• Communicates with all knitting personal on machine performance issues.
• Documents issues on the “white communication board”.
• Informs Master Technician, Head Technician or Manager of any parts on-hand issues.
• Review the machine’s LCD to evaluate production and stops to determine potential issues.
• Communicates yarn performance issues to the Manager.
• Participates in shift meetings.
• Performs weekly machine maintenance on assigned machines to meet expectations per the audit conducted by the Master Technician, Head Technician or Manager.
• Performs style and size changes within capabilities.
• Makes repairs and replaces parts per capabilities.
• Re-needle and sinker the knitting machines as needed.
• Helps out with Knitter, Senior Inspector or Inspector duties as needed.
• Keeps work areas clean.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

• High School or equivalent
• 2-3 years minimum experience required in circular knitting environment
• Knowledge of Circular Knitting Machines to include Lonati and Santoni
• Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed
• Ability to work with little or no direct supervision
