How you'll contribute

A Maintenance Technician who excels in this role:

* Perform routine maintenance, inspection, and repair of hospital facilities and building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and utility infrastructure to ensure safe and reliable operations.

* Execute preventative maintenance activities in accordance with the facility's maintenance management program and regulatory standards.

* Respond to maintenance service requests and work orders in a timely manner while minimizing disruption to patient care, clinical operations, and hospital services.

* Assist with facility improvement projects including alterations, remodeling, minor construction, and equipment installation in compliance with hospital policies and safety procedures.

* Support fire and life safety programs by participating in inspections, drills, and corrective actions in accordance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.

* Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, preventative maintenance schedules, equipment inspections, and completed work orders.

* Collaborate with Plant Operations leadership and other departments to ensure compliance with safety policies, emergency preparedness procedures, and applicable regulatory standards.

What we're looking for

* High school diploma or equivalent required.

* Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance experience required; experience in a hospital or healthcare facility preferred.

* Working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical equipment.
