Ashley Furniture is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Global Supply Chain Analyst to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our company has the right products, at the right places, at the right times. Utilizing a strong understanding of supply chain dynamics and sourcing opportunities, you will optimize inventory levels at all locations around the globe, ensuring customers have access to the product they need when they need it.
You will work cross-functionally with teams like demand planning, logistics, and sales to drive efficiency and support our strategic goals.
- Supply & Inventory Analysis:
Develop and maintain the supply plan for key business units, ensuring that product availability aligns with demand forecasts and financial targets. - Purchase Order Management:
Execute all tactical responsibilities associated with purchase order management, from creation to delivery, ensuring data accuracy and timeliness. - Data Reporting & Analytics:
Analyze supply chain data using tools like Excel, BI platforms, and ERP systems to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for process improvement. Prepare data and materials for Demand and Supply Review meetings. - Product Lifecycle Support:
Collaborate with Demand Planners and Sales teams to support product launch planning and the effective phase‑in and phase‑out of products. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with various departments to ensure supply chain activities are aligned with overall company objectives and to help resolve any supply disruptions. - Process Improvement:
Participate in supply chain initiatives and recommend enhancements to processes and systems that improve speed, reliability, and cost‑effectiveness.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Analytics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain Planning, Operations, Buying, Inventory Control, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., VLOOKUPs, pivot tables).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- A continuous improvement mindset and a passion for data‑driven decision-making.
- APICS – CPIM or CSCP or ISM – Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Professional in Supply Diversity (CPSD) Strategic Sourcing, Procurement preferred.
- Experience with an ERP system (e.g., SAP) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Basic knowledge of SQL.
