Job Summary

Are you a strategic, hands‑on IT leader ready to make a significant impact? Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing leader in the distribution and manufacturing sector, is seeking a skilled IT Manager to oversee their entire IT operations. Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), you will be a trusted advisor to leadership, responsible for mentoring the IT Helpdesk team and ensuring the company's technology infrastructure is secure, reliable, and aligned with strategic business goals.

This is a critical role for a results‑oriented professional who excels at both high‑level strategy and day‑to‑day technical execution. You will champion system reliability, user support, and technology innovation in a fast‑paced environment.

• Lead & Mentor:
  Lead, manage, and develop the IT Helpdesk staff, promoting a culture of high performance and professional growth.
• Oversee Core Infrastructure:
  Administer the Windows Active Directory domain, group policies, and network services (DHCP, DNS). Manage the configuration, maintenance, and security of all servers, networks (LAN/WAN), firewalls, desktops, and phones.
• Drive IT Security & Compliance:
  Take charge of the company's security posture by administering firewalls, malware protection, vulnerability testing, and patch deployment. Ensure data backup systems are robust and maintain software licensing compliance.
• Partner with Leadership:
  Analyze business requirements across all departments to recommend and implement effective technology solutions. Lead technical projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Ensure Operational Excellence:
  Serve as the primary contact for IT inquiries, provide hands‑on user support, and train employees on systems and best practices. Maintain meticulous documentation for all processes, assets, and incidents.
• Support Business Systems:
  Provide essential support for the company's Net Suite ERP system and improve current EDI integrations.

• Minimum of 4 years of IT experience, including hands‑on systems administration, networking, and IT operations.
• Hands‑on Netsuite experience.
• Proven leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to lead an IT team and manage multiple technical functions effectively.
• Advanced proficiency with Windows Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong knowledge of IT security protocols, data protection, disaster recovery, and networking principles (LAN/WAN, DHCP, DNS).
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical users and business leaders.
• Associate's degree in Information Technology or a related field.

• Hands‑on experience with Net Suite ERP.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CompTIA A+ or Microsoft Certified IT Professional.
