We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Writer to create clear, accurate, and user‑focused documentation for complex technical products. This fully remote role requires strong collaboration with engineering, product, and support teams to translate technical concepts into accessible content for diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including:
• API documentation
• User guides and manuals
• Developer documentation
• Release notes
• Knowledge base articles
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, UX, and QA teams to gather technical information.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and engaging documentation.
• Establish and maintain documentation standards, style guides, and best practices.
• Own documentation lifecycle from planning to publication and updates.
• Improve documentation processes, tools, and workflows.
• Contribute to content strategy and information architecture.
• Mentor junior writers and review documentation for accuracy and clarity.
• Ensure documentation aligns with company voice, brand, and compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in SaaS, software, or technology environments.
• Proven experience documenting APIs, SDKs, and developer platforms.
• Strong understanding of software development concepts (REST APIs, JSON, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure).
• Experience working with documentation tools such as Markdown, Confluence, Git‑based workflows, or static site generators.
• Ability to read and understand code (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
