Position Summary
The primary location of this position is the Cullowhee, NC campus. The Advancement Database Manager for Athletics is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the Athletics fundraising database and ensuring data reliability for all related donor and supporter records. The manager will build reports and queries in the database, respond to end‑user questions and training needs, and perform analysis through visualization tools, as well as providing Tier 1 technical support to the campus stakeholders.
Knowledge,Skills, and Abilities
The manager must have a thorough knowledge of reporting functions, spreadsheets, and database applications; strong analytical skills; excellent written and oral communication skills, strong interpersonal skills, excellent computer technology expertise and a team‑oriented approach to work.
Minimum QualificationsGraduation from a two‑year technical college with a major in an Information Technology field and one year in the information technology field related to the position’s role; or graduation from a four‑year college or university and one year experience in the information technology field related to the position’s role; or graduation from a four‑year college or university with a major in an Information Technology area.
Related information technology experience may be substituted year for year for the required education. Must be legally eligible to work in the United States of America without the need for employer sponsorship or any other immigration‑related assistance.
