POSITION– REGIONAL HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER (EAST)

RATE OF PAY–$50,000 - $55,000 PER YEAR

REPORTING TO
– CORPORATE DIRECTOR OF HR, DOTTED LINES TO GENERAL MANAGERS AT EAST COAST PROPERTIES

EMPLOYEE CATEGORY–EXEMPT, FULL TIME

LOCATION– TRAILORN SURF & SOUND

About Our Role

The Regional Human Resources Manager (East) supports HR operations for multiple Trailborn hotels while being based at Trailborn Surf & Sound. This role partners with property leaders and corporate HR to support recruiting, onboarding, training, and employee development, with a strong on-property presence.

Responsibilities
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for property-level hourly and management roles
  • Partner with General Managers and department leaders on hiring needs
  • Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, and support onboarding
Training & Development
  • Coordinate and support new hire onboarding and training programs
  • Facilitate brand, service, and compliance training as needed
  • Support employee development and track training completion
Employee Relations & HR Support
  • Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers
  • Support performance management, coaching, and corrective action
  • Assist with employee relations issues, escalating as appropriate
HR Administration & Compliance
  • Maintain employee records and HR systems accurately and confidentially
  • Support compliance with employment laws and company policies
  • Assist with reporting, audits, and HR initiatives
Regional Support
  • Provide HR support across multiple East region properties
  • Travel occasionally to support training, new openings, or priority needs
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of Human Resources experience (hospitality preferred)
  • Knowledge of recruiting, onboarding, training, and employee relations
  • Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient with HR systems and basic reporting
  • Willing to travel occasionally to other properties (10% Travel)
