Hugh Chatham Health Pulmonology - 180 Parkwood Drive Elkin, NC 28621. Certified Medical Assistant.

Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8a-5p.

• Assist in the delivery of quality healthcare including patient care management throughout the medical group. Provide support to outpatient practices with direct patient care.

• Education and Formal Training:
  Graduation from an Associate Degree program for Medical Assistants.
• Work Experience:
  
  Medical group outpatient clinic experience preferred.
• Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  Demonstrates a high level of mental and emotional tolerance; uses tact and professional attitude when relating with patients, families, and co-workers. Acts as a patient advocate. Thorough knowledge of medical practice and care to assist in patient care. Knowledge of examination, diagnostic and treatment room procedures; medical equipment and instruments; safety hazards and infection control policies. Skills in taking vital signs, maintaining records, and developing department quality assurance.
  
  Ability to communicate clearly and establish effective working relationships. Knowledge of current hospital emergency policies and procedures, fire, safety, disaster, and infection control policies.
